Your challenge

  • Work with site business colleagues and global business process owners to define business requirements and use cases for localizations
  • Design and document solution alternatives that aligns with local business requirements, global template processes, and architectural principles leveraging industry and business best practices
  • Collaborate with members of other Process and SAP and IT teams to configure the defined solutions
  • Develop functional specifications for configuration and customization which include reports, integrations, conversions, enhancements, forms, and dashboards
  • Transform requirements, functional specifications and use cases into ETL processes, data models, queries and dashboards for analysis and planning functionality with SAP BW/4HANA, Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for functional, integration, user acceptance and performance testing
  • Perform functional acceptance testing execution after development completion
  • Ensure the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, and upgradable for next generation solutions
  • Collaborate on innovative solutions to support the future of our Reporting and Business Intelligence landscape

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical skills of SAP BW and Query Design
  • Experience with BW/4Hana is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAC development (alternatively in Business Objects)
  • Create queries and SAC Dashboards for analysis and planning functionality
  • ETL, data model and process chain modelling
  • ABAP and ABAP OO are an advantage
  • SQL Database knowledge and SQL Scripting is an advantage
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge in analytics of industry practices, like different measured profitability and efficiency approaches
  • Comprehensive understanding of the underlying business processes and value flows in finance, production, and supply chain
  • Sound communication and presentation skills, must be able to convey information in a clear and effective manner
  • Networking and team-working skills
  • Fluency in English (main working language), and at least conversational skills in German
